Cham art performances in Binh Thuan province every weekend to serve tourists

The management board for Po Sah Inu relics in Phan Thiet city, the south central coastal province of Binh Thuan has held art performances of Cham ethnic minority group every Saturday and Sunday at relics to serve tourists.


Performance is considered as a suitable way towards to the establishment of new tourism service in the locality. Tourists to the relics not only admire specific architecture of temples but also enjoy special art performance of the Cham ethnic people.

Po Sah Inu temples are unique architectural work of the Cham ethnic group. It is the place where traditional festival as well as cultural activities of Cham people take place.

The group of these temple was recognized as a national relics in 1991.

HCM City hosts int'l tourism expo

Ho Chi Minh City will host an international tourism exposition targeting customers at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre from September 13 to 15.

 The Municipal Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the event’s organizer, will work with aviation companies to invite 120 travel agents from North and South Europe, South Africa, Turkey, Russian, China, the US and India, that are interested in Vietnamese destinations.

They will also invite 100 travel agents from Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, and Vietnam to participate in the event.

During the exposition, a tourism conference will be held, bringing together the mayors of Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam), Phnom Penh (Cambodia), Vientiane ( Laos), Yangon (Myanmar), Bangkok (Thailand), Kunming (Yunnan- China), Jeju and Busan (Korea).

The conference will be within the framework of a tourism cooperation program in the Greater Mekong Sub- region (GMS).
