About 314,000
foreign visitors came to the country for holidays, up 21.1 percent
against last October, and 86,305 visitors arrived for business purposes,
a decline of 0.1 percent. In the first ten months, a total of 4.83 million foreign tourists came to Vietnam, of whom 2.9 million visitors came for tourism purposes. During the period, the country welcomed the highest increase of visitors from Cambodia with 56.9 percent, followed by China, 45.8 percent, Malaysia, 11.7 percent and Japan, 8.5 percent. Visitors from South Korea, France, Australia and the United States were also on the rise, said the report.
