Activities of National Tourism Year of the Red River Delta – Hai Phong 2013

(TITC) - National Tourism Year of the Red River Delta – Hai Phong 2013 with the theme “Red River Civilization” will be held in Hai Phong City and cities, provinces in the Red River Delta region.

Culture, sports and tourism activities in the framework of the National Tourism Year 2013 will take place throughout the year, including 23 ones organized by Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MoCST) in coordination with other ministries, industries and 12 ones organized by People’s Committee of Hai Phong City in the city. Besides, many other exciting activities will take place in the provinces, cities in the Red River Delta region.

The Red River Delta region includes cities of Ha Noi, Hai Phong and provinces of Bac Ninh, Ninh Binh, Vinh Phuc, Hai Duong, Hung Yen, Thai Binh, Nam Dinh, HaNam and Quang Ninh. The National Tourism Year 2013 aims to promote destinations, attract domestic and international tourists; foster tourism linkages among the localities nationwide; strengthen international integration and attract investment for developing tourism; enhance combination of tourism sector and economic, cultural, social sectors… for sustainable development.
